Garlic butter Beans with toasted almonds


These beans may be pretty simple, but they’re a great side dish with a lot of flavour!

  • Ingredients

  • 300g green beans

  • 2 cloves garlic - sliced

  • 2 tbsp butter or dairy-free alternative

  • 1/3 cup sliced almonds

  • salt + pepper


  1. Bring a pot of water to the boil, making sure that theres a generous amount of salt in the water

  2. blanch the beans for 3 minutes - then strain

  3. add the butter and almonds onto a medium/high heat pan, the almonds will begin to go golden brown

  4. add in the garlic and sauté for 30 seconds

  5. stir through the beans and garnish with some salt and pepper 

  6. serve hot and enjoy straight away :)
